GRACE EPISCOPAL CHURCH FOUNDATION

Grace Episcopal Church Foundation was established by the Vestry of Grace Episcopal Church and is governed by a Trust Agreement dated October 10, 1969. The Foundation is to receive, hold, manage and distribute funds contributed for religious purposes – to include educational, scientific, missionary and other charitable purposes that the Trustees deem worthy.

 

Any 501(c)3 organization that fits the guidelines is welcome to apply. Requests are accepted from June through August annually and notification of grant awards are made by November 1.

In 2022, the Grace Episcopal Church Foundation was pleased to award a total of $71,000 to the following organizations

  • A Better Life Animal Rescue

  • Burke County Public Library

  • Glen Alpine Food Pantry

  • Blue Ridge Service Corps (Episcopal Diocese of WNC)

  • Hispanic Mission

  • Burke Literacy Council

  • NC School for the Deaf Foundation

  • The Red Door Church (Church of the Advocate)

  • Burke County United Way

  • Open Hearts Place

  • Burke County Christmas Cheer

  • Good Samaritan Clinic

  • American Red Cross Blue Ridge

  • Burke Council on Alcoholism

  • BUCM

  • St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church Soup Kitchen

The 2023 Grace Episcopal Church Foundation grant application window has closed.

Notification of a decision on the application and grant funding will be made by November 1.
